Petra & her journey with Horses

George - Petra's teacherMuch can be said about the connection between humans and horses. In Petra's case there is an ongoing transformation that is taking place due to her interaction with her horses.

But lets start at the beginning. Since early childhood, Petra had a fascination with horses. You would find her wherever there were horses, you see her standing there admiring them, drifting off to another world and dreaming away. But as much as she liked them, she feared them. And it was not to be that she ever had an opportunity to own such a wonderful creature as she grew up in Switzerland. 

It was only many many years later when she got in contact with those creatures when she migrated to Australia and her daughter wanted a horse. She was not able to help her daughter with the horse as still this tremendous fear would take hold of her as soon as she came into vincinity of the horse. For her, staying outside a paddock or stable, glancing at the wonderful animals, was again the only way to be as close as she could to them.

Observing from a distance allowed her to feel into things between horse people and the horse and often she would be able to point out things that seemingly seemed to be hidden to owners of horses. She also observed that her own emotional and mental state of being would have an effect on that horse that was owned by her daughter. She would find that he would pick up in far distance on her thoughts and would express them without hesitation.

This filled her with excitement on one hand, but also with more fear on the other hand because it was clear to her that this is the invisible glue that makes or breakes the connection to a horse. The journey started within her!

As her daughter was to sell the horse, Petra was the buyer! This is where her journey started and she was looking for confirmation of her observations in many horse trainers. She found the one which she believed was right on her path, she found Klaus Ferdinand Hempfling. She did not hesitate to fly to Europe to spend one month training in his school and later became his Australian representative.

Rosie - George's companionNow she was ready to take her horse and live with him, caring for him daily on the property. Following a feel, integrating many of her fears through the interaction with her horse George, an exciting journey began. A journey of discovery and healing. Only a while ago she discovered that her friend George had the innate ability to relate to people and interact with them in a way so they were touched deep within their core. She now allows a very special experience which was named by somebody coming to meet George as "The George Experience" to unfold and she facilitates the meeting between human and horse.

She plans to run workshops together with a young woman who lives in Europe and is a professional rider. She has left the commercial rider world behind and took her horse and rode with him from Switzerland on the Camino way over the European alps to Santiago de Compostela in Spain. She too has found the special glue that bonds horse and human and is excited to offer this knowledge to peope who are interested in a very new experience.

Petra Webstein alias Marie Halter - The Artist

Marie Halter also known as Mary Halter was born in the heart of Europe, in Switzerland. As a true creator she was interested in expressing herself through more than merely a paint brush and so she experimented with textiles in black and white expressing the woman's psyche in a delicate and sensible way. As a true artist she understands to draw the essence of the spirit and energy of a human being right into her creations. 

Numerous exhibitions including some prized ones quickly stirred interest in her special way to express. 

She travelled extensively throughout the world and in some very remote areas of Australia and integrated impressions into her art. She would like to give people the opportunity to own one of her art pieces as a print using this medium to connect worldwide.

Petra Webstein is a foremost spiritual teacher, a pioneer in the field of self-development and an outstanding supporter for people who are looking for a breakthrough in their lifes.

Petra Webstein has dedicated her life to knowing the self and has practised self development disciplines since 1983. She was one of the first ones using the Bachflowers in Switzerland for herself and as a supporting tool in therapy sessions with others.

She has thought various subjects throughout Europe and the word about her Reiki teachings spread fast all over the German speaking part of Europe.

She was also known for her art which she exhibited in Switzerland and sold quickly.

Her intuitive, inquisitive and inventive nature called her to travel the world with her 6 year old daughter on her hand in order to expand and possibly find a new home land. Even though they returned to Switzerland she had lost her heart to land "down under" Australia.

As a true creator she followed her passion and migrated to Australia in 1996. 

A new land, fascinating possibilities to explore new dimensions and enjoy the vast space of Australia began to stir her interest. The energies of the country were so different to the ones in Europe and a feeling of freedom submerged.

She made the decision to sell all she owned to embark one more on a journey taking just herself and a trusted vehicle lovingly called by her "Mr. Diesel" to the Australian remote outback. Her heart called her to the Kimberleys, she did not know why, she did not know much about it but followed the call just to find another connection that was truly alive in her, the connection with the Australian aboriginal spirit realm. She spent time all alone emerging in this experience.

She discovered with great astonishment how open people in remote areas were towards the energy healing she offered while she was travelling. She travelled, studied and discovered new horizons for many years. 

Petra Webstein co-authored a book called "Living an Abundant Life" in this period.

Eventually she returned to Western Australia to tackle one more subject that was close to her heart and that she knew would hold some more keys for her and her teachings for people - her horse.

She has settled now in Western Australia, living with her horses George and Rosie and offering her services and runs classes & workshops.
